Accessibility in museums
werk5 and the multi-touch-agency Interactive Scape have presented new solutions for the implementation of accessibility and inclusion in museums:
Make the digital tangible!
Data-models, 3D scans and paintings are turned into touch models and physical 3D objects.
The digital magnifier Easire® 'Magnify' turns high-resolution pictures into a collective experience.
Texts and plans are translated into Braille/prism fond and orientation maps (mainly in Corian®)
