Is this still handcraft?

The leitmotif of the 'Internationalen Handwerksmesse' in Munich fits perfectly: at werk5, since the company was founded, everything has revolved around transformation processes and the integration of the latest technology into the craft of technical model making. As campaign ambassadors of the German Handcraft 2019, we look forward to your answer to the question: Is that still handcraft?

Building models with just one finger?

How would you work with three arms? How would you use your time if you could hand over monotonous or hard work to a tireless and always precise employee?

Gunnar Bloss, CEO at werk5, brings the KUKA iiwa LBR to life in IHM's advertising campaign. At our booth in the special area "Land des Handwerks" in hall C2, you can do the same and take over the control of the Cobot, quite intuitively.

Christophe Barlieb, Head of Robotics and Dr. Thilo Röhrig from the TU Berlin, present the results of our cooperation project, funded by ZIM (Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand, based on a resolution of the German Bundestag). We also highly recommend their specialized lecture on Thursday 14th of March on the Fokus area in Hall C2 at 4 p.m.

Get inspiration!

The current transformation of craftsmanship enables new ways of designing and implementing complex unique pieces. Let your ideas run wild and imagine all the numerous possibilities of digital tools for your business. Where are the challenges for your company? Discuss the use of the latest technologies with our programmers - we look forward to hearing from you!

werk5 | new craft. Tranforming ideas into reality.
